I believe every person has within themselves the strengths they need to succeed. In therapy we work on building those strengths to realize our greatest potential and change our lives for the better. As a therapist I believe it is our job to help you learn to find your strengths and move past traumas, fears and insecurities to find your best self. I look forward to helping all our clients find their path to a more fulfilling and productive life.
Using EMDR and CBT therapies clients can expect to work on past traumas that affect their current way of thinking and how they react to life's daily challenges. If you are feeling stuck in not knowing how to make decisions for your self or feeling out of control in your life these therapies are used to help you regain control of your life.

Hi! I'm Courtney Nunez, and I'm currently a Master of Social Work student intern at Florida State University. I have extensive experience as a victim advocate, supporting survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence. I work with clients of all ages who may be experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, or low self-esteem. In my approach, I utilize evidence-based practices, including Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I am passionate about ensuring that every individual feels heard and recognized as the expert in their own life. I believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to lead the life they envision, and I am confident that, through collaboration, we can work together toward that goal. My approach is warm, compassionate, and guided by genuine curiosity.
