" I help individuals clarify their core values and build actionable paths toward healing and personal growth.."

" I am passionate about ensuring that every individual feels heard and recognized as the expert in their own life. "

I believe every person has within themselves the strengths they need to succeed. In therapy we work on building those strengths to realize our greatest potential and change our lives for the better. As a therapist I believe it is our job to help you learn to find your strengths and move past traumas, fears and insecurities to find your best self. I look forward to helping all our clients find their path to a more fulfilling and productive life.
Using EMDR and CBT therapies clients can expect to work on past traumas that affect their current way of thinking and how they react to life's daily challenges. If you are feeling stuck in not knowing how to make decisions for your self or feeling out of control in your life these therapies are used to help you regain control of your life.

My work centers on supporting individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, substance use challenges, trauma, and relationship or identity‑related stressors. I strive to create a space where clients feel respected, understood, and empowered to move toward meaningful change. Using evidence‑based approaches such as CBT along with mind‑body strategies, I help clients identify their core values and develop practical steps toward healing, resilience, and personal growth. I am committed to providing care that is welcoming and respectful to people of all backgrounds, including diverse cultures, faith traditions, family structures, and identities. My goal is to ensure every client feels safe, supported, and genuinely heard.
Services are provided under appropriate clinical supervision as a Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern.

Hi! I'm Courtney Nunez, and I'm currently a Master of Social Work student intern at Florida State University. I have extensive experience as a victim advocate, supporting survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence. I work with clients of all ages who may be experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, or low self-esteem. In my approach, I utilize evidence-based practices, including Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I am passionate about ensuring that every individual feels heard and recognized as the expert in their own life. I believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to lead the life they envision, and I am confident that, through collaboration, we can work together toward that goal. My approach is warm, compassionate, and guided by genuine curiosity.
